Emmylous Harris (f. 1947) har lenge vore ein favoritt, ja heilt sidan vi for meir enn tredve år sidan køyrde over Rocky Mountain og vidare gjennom ørkenen til Grand Canyon. På radio spelte dei melodiar
frå Emmylou Harris "Elite Hotel" som kom i 1975. Fantastisk stemning. Vi kjøpte plata i vinyl utgåve(lenge før det eksisterte CD og spotify).På plateomslaget ei ung Emmylou Harris med langt mørkt hår og brune støvlettar sitjande på trappa framfor Elite Hotel. "Until we behold the pain become the pearl."
